Ushers & Greeters

Greeters are the first people encountered as you enter our church prior to Sunday morning services. They greet attendees with warmth and professionalism while handing out our weekly bulletin.  They give assistance to first time visitors and coordinate with the ushers to help anyone with additional needs.  Greeters must arrive early for services, dress with a neat and clean appearance, and have a friendly demeanor.  Their focus is creating a welcoming environment for those arriving for service.

Ushers primarily assist in seating, safety and maintaining order inside the building.  Additionally, they assist with the collection of tithes/offerings and communion. They are familiar with church layout and are able to direct and assist attendees.  They operate in a professional, yet friendly manner while maintaining a level of alertness - ready to take appropriate action as required.   Ushers should be prepared to meet the needs of the Pastors, congregants and visitors.  Ushers should be well groomed, dressed professionally and prepared to arrive early for services.
