What We Believe
WE BELIEVE…The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, and that from cover to cover it reveals Christ and provides the blueprint for victorious Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
WE BELIEVE…In the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, expressed in the three persons of the Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
WE BELIEVE…In the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1, Matthew 1:23), His virgin birth (Matthew 1:18), His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21), His vicarious death on the cross (Romans 3:25-26), His resurrection (Mark 16:5-7), ascension (Mark 16:19), and imminent return. (Acts 1:11)
WE BELIEVE…That the Holy Spirit and all the gifts of the Spirit are available to believers and are in operation in the earth today. (1 Corinthians 12:8-11, Acts 19:6)
WE BELIEVE…The local church is the vehicle that God has ordained to preach the Gospel message to the world and to fulfill the Great Commission. (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15)
WE BELIEVE…In practicing the ordinances of water baptism & communion in the Church. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
WE BELIEVE…That mankind without Christ is lost and can only be saved through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (Colossians 2:13-14, John 14:6)
WE BELIEVE…That sanctification, holiness and the overcoming life are God's design for every believer. (Ephesians 5:25-27, 1 Peter 1:14-16)
